2020 Breakaway Ticket & Refund Information

Transferring Your Ticket(s) to 2021

 

If you’d like to transfer your 2020 Breakaway ticket to 2021’s festival in the same city for which you purchased tickets, there is no further action required AND you will automatically receive a complimentary second ticket to 2021’s festival PLUS a complimentary Breakaway Merchandise Package as a thank you for supporting this year’s event! Both tickets will be valid for next year’s festival. If you purchased more than one ticket for one of 2020 events, you will receive one additional complimentary ticket for each ticket purchased. 

 

If you opted into a layaway plan and decide to transfer your ticket to 2021’s festival, your June 1st and July 1st layaway plan payments will be postponed during the refund process until August 3rd and September 1st, respectively. If you choose to refund your 2020 ticket, you will not be charged at the postponed payment dates.

 

At this time, you are not able to change the city for which you purchased tickets. More information about when you will receive your additional ticket(s) and merchandise package will be sent out after the refund window closes on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 12:00PM EST. 

 

Requesting A Refund:

 

If you’d like to request a refund for your 2020 Breakaway ticket, please follow the directions below:

 

**The request process will begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 12:00PM EST and end on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 12:00PM EST, and refunds will be processed in as little as 30 days from that time.**


1-   Scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the specific festival for which you purchased tickets and log into your Front Gate Tickets account
2-   Select order history under the “Your Account” tab on the top navigation bar 
3-   Select “View Order Detail” on the order number you with to have refunded
4-   Click the “Request Refund” button on the top of your order details. 

**If you later change your mind and wish to still attend the festival, log back into your account and hit the now available “Cancel Request” button. Once the request period closes, you will no longer be able to change the status of your refund request.**

 

All refunds will be processed in as little as 30 days from when the request period ends.

If your credit card used for purchase has been canceled or is now expired, the bank or credit card company will normally reroute the credit amount issued to the current account or card for use. You may confirm with your bank or credit card company however no further action should be required.

 

Only primary ticket purchasers will receive a refund. If you did not purchase your ticket directly through the official Breakaway website, please contact the person/party you purchased your ticket through. This process takes time and all parties involved are working incredibly hard to expedite the process to ensure everyone who is entitled to a refund receives it as quickly as possible.
